GROUND SURVEYS ............

With its experienced engineering staff, Vaytaş Drilling realises its ground surveys so as to be the basis for improvement plan with geological, geotechnical and geophysical   methods as well as in detail and content so as to meet points required in earthquake regulation and circular of Ministry of Public Works and Settlement dated 15/10/1999.

In Ground Surveys ;
With Geological Studies, general geology and tectonic of area worked and its stratigraphy, litological formations, horizontal and vertical expansions of underground plates adn structural geology are explained.

Geotechnical Studies; Fracture, crack, joint, fault and other transitorinesses of ground and degrees of decomposition and deformation are researched with geomechanic drillings digged with 2 numbers TSM 750 drilling machines with 500 meter capacity and their equipments and 6 numbers D500 Crealius XC-90D drilling machines with 300 meter capacity and all sorts of experienced team and equipment belonging to them, which we have.

Groundwater levels are determined, SPT, BST and Permeability tests are conducted and disturbed ground samples are obtained. Undisturbed ground samples with shelby tube in cohesioned grounds and core samples in rock levels are analysed.

Ground parameters required in construction phase such as ground safety tension, density elasticity module, shear resistance angle etc. are determined by conducting geotechnical laboratory tests related to ground bearing strength such as density, atterburg limits, sieve analysis, consolidation, single and three dimensional pressure etc. on various ground samples obtained from geomechanic ground drillings in accordance with procedure. 

Undisturbed (UD) samples are obtained from research holes digged and necessary laboratory tests related to these are conducted.  Within the context of Geophysical Studies, Seismic surveys (Refraction surveys, down-hole seismic experiments), Electrical Impedance (Resistivity) surveys and Microtremor calculations are conducted.
